ABOUT US

Lasallian Mission and Linkages (LML), an essential service within the vibrant community of DLSMHSI, serves as a beacon, reflecting our dedication to the Lasallian Mission and Vocation, aligned with its shared vision, mission, and values. This service demonstrates not only our commitment to the Lasallian Mission and vocation but also meets the various needs of all sectors, including students, alumni, faculty, administrators, and staff. It is profoundly rooted in the core of God's love and the Catholic Church's apostolic vocation, and it acts as the Institution's nurturing heart. It links and creates opportunities for strategic collaborations across services and stakeholders and implements partnerships for the advancement of the Institution and its partners.

The LML ensures that members of the DLSMHSI Community are living out the Lasallian identity and values and discovers how their vocation and journey in their respective roles can contribute to upholding reverence for life for the achievement of the principles, vision, and advancement of our Lasallian Mission.

Lasallian Mission is an expression of God’s loving concern, an apostolic ministry of the Catholic Church that provides human and Christian education, particularly towards the well-being of the young and the poor in ministries conducted as places of salvation by staff and professionals acting together in and by association for the sake of the mission, shaping individuals to care for the less fortunate and contribute to societal transformation/leavening.

Linkages form a relationship that connects all Lasallians within and outside the Institution, binding them to a commitment to the Lasallian mission and vocation. This commitment is pursued through associations, partnerships, and networking guided by the three Lasallian core values of Spirit of Faith, Zeal for Service, Communion in Mission, and the DLSMHSI value of Reverence for Life.

Lasallian Mission and Linkages serves to connect DLSMHSI with the outside world, nationally and internationally, including government and non-governmental academic, health, and research institutions, as well as with Lasallian schools globally. This connection facilitates mutual and strategic collaborations through partnerships and programs across disciplines and stakeholders.
