The DLSUMC Department of Family and Community Medicine teaches its residents to learn and apply the biopsychosocial paradigm approach where biomedical concerns are addressed, as well as the psychosocial factors that also influence the wellness/illness of an individual and family. |
The Residency Training Program of the Department is governed by the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP) and aligns with its mission and vision, ensuring that the current goals of the Academy are upheld. With this in mind, the training program ensures that such challenges are observed in the program designed for the Residents. |
